Restored Antique, Brass, Four Inch Fitter, "Ball Shade Support Rings" or "Globe Rings" as they were sometimes called. These are the solid stamped brass "rings" that slipped over the burner shaft that supported the 4 inch collar of the ball or globe shade as it sat on the lamp proper. These are original parts that have been burnished, polished to a beautiful sheen and lacquer sealed to protect the shine for many years to come. All Kerosene lamps that were fitted with top ball shades require one of these to support the ball shade. These are the correct restoration parts that are seen often on lamps manufactured by The Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company,...The Fostoria Glass Co.,... and the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Company on their "Success" brand fonts and burners. These are designed to work on center-draft burners only. Please specify burner type when ordering.
