       Overview: This rare "SQUARE BASE DRAPE" Green Satin Patterned Art-Glass Night Lamp with the Original Pittsburgh Collar & Nutmeg Burner Set stands 8-inches tall to the top of its 3 1/2-inch ball shade. Although this lamp is rare to find in complete & in excellent condition, it is one of the basic lamps that is the foundation of every night lamp collection.

       Manufactured By: The Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in Factory #2, located in Swissvale, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Pittsburgh) overseen by vice-president & famous glass color-man Nicholas Kopp Jr.   (Circa 1900 - 1915) This beautiful & rare lamp has been restored to its pristine, original flawless condition and is a real show piece for the antique lighting and antique night lamp collector.

       Metalwork:   Lamp retains its original brass collar & 3-piece “Nutmeg” brand, brass, Burner, Globe Ring & Chimney Holder, which has been completely restored to its original finish & luster. (Please note that we do not guarantee that this font, or any other font that we sell, will either hold oil/kerosene or that they will safely support combustion - the font is meant to be used for globe support & lamp component completeness only). Night Lamp still retains all of its original & authentic metal components. Still in oil, never electrified.

       Original Colorways: This lamp was originally produced in Red Satin Patterned Art-Glass, Green (Celery Green) Patterned Art-Glass, Blue (Ice Blue) Patterned Art-Glass, Pink Satin Art-Glass & at least three different Decorated Opal Art-Glass Color-Ways including pink, a purplish color & blue. Chimney is a modern replica-replacement. Original Patterned Satin Art-Glass is in pristine condition and has been chemically cleaned and re-etched to return it to its original finish and luster.
