       Overview: This rare "CARTOUCHE" Red Satin Patterned Art-Glass Parlor Lamp w/ applied hand decoration with Consolidated’s Original High Grade
Trim Set stands 24 inches tall to the top of
its 10-inch ball shade.

The 19th Century Lighting Co.

       Manufactured By: The Consolidated Lamp & Brass Co. of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania (formerly The Fostoria Shade & Lamp Company of Fostoria, Ohio) managed in the 1890’s famous glass color-man Nicholas Kopp Jr. & later by William Sergeant. (Circa 1900 - 1915) This beautiful & rare lamp has been restored to its pristine, original flawless condition and is a real show-piece.

       Metalwork:   Lamp retains its original 3-piece “Consolidated” brand, brass, Font, Burner & Chimney Holder, (made for Consolidated by The Plume & Atwood Co.) which has been completely restored to its original finish & luster. (Please note that we do not guarantee that this font, or any other font that we sell, will either hold oil/kerosene or that they will safely support combustion - the font is meant for use as a globe support & for lamp component completeness only) All brass work has been restored to original finish & luster and the cast iron lamp-foot has been re-brassed to its original finish & luster also. Lamp retains all of its authentic metal components right down to the original connecting bolt.
Still in oil, never electrified.

       Original Colorways: This lamp was originally produced in Red Satin Art-Glass – both plain and decorated, Dark Green Cased & Dark Green Satin Art-Glass, Light Green Cased & Light Green Satin Art-Glass, Aqua Blue Cased Satin & Aqua Blue Satin Art-Glass, White Opal Cased Art-Glass, Crystal Satin & Crystal Satin Decorated Art-Glass, White Opal Art Glass – plain & decorated. Chimney is a modern replica-replacement. Original Patterned Satin Art-Glass is in pristine restored condition with all components restored to their original finish.

       Electrification: Lamp has never been electrified and it is still in oil – however, for modern use, we can passively electrify this lamp, using the 19th Century Lighting’s Electrical Lamp Wiring Harness, without any harm what-so-ever to existing old & original equipment so that it can be enjoyed in today’s home settings.
