RED SATIN ART-GLASS PARLOR VASE LAMP
"Vintage" Pattern

Beautiful Iridescent Red Satin Art-Glass Parlor Vase Lamp in the Blown to Mold "Vintage" pattern. One of the more beautiful Satin Art-Glass Lamp patterns produced by The Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. circa 1895-1910; this beautiful lamp is fitted with its original "Success" Brand slip-in brass font with & original decorative cast iron base and font crown ring. This lamp, which stands approximately 24 inches tall with a 10 inch upper matching globe is one of the more difficult patterns to locate today. (Chimney is a modern replica-replacement) This lamp was also produced in Crystal Satin Art-Glass and three (3) different color-ways of painted opal glass. Glass and Metal are in mint condition & lamp has been restored to its original pristine appearance. Font is original, correct, and intact and has been burnished, buffed and sealed to its original high luster finish. (Please note that we do not guarantee that this font, or any other font that we sell, will either hold oil/kerosene or that they will safely support combustion - they are meant to be used decoratively only) The original and correct cast iron base & decorative font crown ring has been re-electroplated to its original brass finish & brilliance and this lamp has been fitted with our own wiring harness which allows for the gentle electrification of the upper globe without causing harm to any of the original lamp components. This lamp is totally original and correct in every way; it is truly a showpiece of quality and beauty. (98/100 points)
